5 The discovery of the Most Ridiculous Throughout the 20th Century


The 20th century was marked by a number of great inventions that changed people's lives. There is a sophisticated car invention, also the internet. In the century humanseven able to set foot on the Moon.

However, not all findings were worthy of inclusion in history books. Because, some ofthe findings determined to have failed, even ridiculous. What are the findings that in the category useless?

1. TV Glasses, 1963. The inventor, Hugo Gernsback TV wearing glasses, the productwas never released.


2. Motorized sled. Inventors from Hollywood, Joe Gilpin riding a motorized skateboard in 1948.


3. Baby wired cage placed outside the window. A baby sitter watching a baby that is inserted in a wire cage outside the window of a tall building in 1937. These cageswere distributed to members of Chelsea Baby Club in London who do not have agarden or a bear to put their baby on a crowded street.


4. Anti-cigarette umbrella rain. Zeus Corp. President, Robert L. Stern, using the umbrella of cigarettes which he designed himself in 1954. Although the rain would notwet.


5. Electrometer Hubbart. Science fiction writer and founder of the church flow of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard using Hubbard electrometer to find out whether thetomatoes feel pain in 1968.

What he did led to the conclusion: 'tomatoes scream when cut'.
