U.S. famous producer, Rick Rubin to work with these groups lead vocalist, Mike Shinoda produced the new album titled A Thousand Suns. But to treat the impatienceof fans, the group will release their debut single titled The Catalyst on August 2. Linkin Park's latest album MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT launched in 2007.
In this new jazz album promotion, Linkin Park also hold a contest, 'Linkin Park, Featuring You' which opened on July 9. In this online contest, fans are asked to participate by making a remix version, rewrite or create a mute part of The Catalyst via MySpace and MixParade. The winner of this contest will have the opportunity join in a recording with this band one of their songs.
